Jesus is the Reason for The Season - I pray that at this special but often frantically busy time we will not forget that His birth is the reason we celebrate Christmas.
We are back from a great hol in Vic - we had mostly good weather (gee it can be cold down in the deep south), saw some incredible scenery and marvels of nature, had some precious times with Dave and Jules, Jill and Neil, Jules dad Graeme and special school friend and fellow journeyer Sue and husband Michael. It is the people that make life precious, hey.

On Tues night, after a not so good hosp visit (mention later), we met up with David and Sharon in the City and watched the Christmas parade and pantomine - very special time together.
Gearing up to Christmas took a bit of a hit on Tues. It appears that the liver is building up again as all levels are up further. I need to start the stronger chemo on 3rd Jan. To say I am devastated is an understatement - not the sort of news that adds joy to Christmas. I try not to make sense of it cause there are no answers, so I will just keep praising God for what I have and not what could be. I am hanging in for a great trip in Feb to US, so things will be ok!
But as always keep praying for me please, we value your love, friendship and prayers. Mark is finding this hard too as you can imagine, as with the rest of the family. need some good news hey!
As you know our computer went down just before we went away, and we lost quite a lot of contacts as well as other stuff. If you havent had a Christmas letter from us or heard from us please just send us your email address so we can put you back in our system.
This is long enough so I will close. I pray for good times with friends and family for you as well as safety on the roads and in the water - up north at least!!!!!!
Oh by the way - I am desperate for some plaid/tartan fabric for a quilt, cant find any in OZ and will have to get some from US after Christmas so if anyone has some you dont want can you please let me know.
