Still raining very wet, even the printer paper is limp and damp!!
But even though we have surpassed last Jan rain we havent flooded like that!
I am rewriting this as I didnt save it - Drat!
We have just come back from 4 days over on a little island in Moreton Bay called Coochiemudlo. Because of the rain didnt even get to walk the 4kl circumference but had a couple of little walks. Went with David and Sharon and we just veged. Played board games, ipads, watched tennis, cricket, and read - generally blobbed, and it was good, great to spend time together. Have a busy Feb and march so it was good timing.
Back on the weekly Wesley visits - couldnt have chemo week before last as blood counts were too low but they were up a bit last week so had one then. Come on God - things have got to get better before I go to US - only 3 1/2 weeks away!
A friend rang me last night and told me about a book she read of Yoni Cho (wrong spelling) from Sth Korea. When we pray we need to pray visulising what we are praying for, and speak life into that. We have a choice as to how positive or otherwise we live in our situations and how precise we ask for Gods favour. It reminded me that i need to pray and picture myself well and with vitality, and of course with long hair!!!! So I made a scrapbook page, laminated it and put a pic of myself with long hair, added some flowers and the words - "speak life" and " visualize". I will move it around the house so it does not get stale and familiar in one place. We have a choice as to how we live in and with our situations and I choose Life! Me and God, together . Thanks Deb!
My words for today!!
Just on a sad note, my cousin Jill and Neil who we stayed with in Melb in Dec, have tragically lost their youngest son Troy, on the weekend, he took his life. Please, if you are praying people lift them to God and ask for His strength and power to sustain them through the coming difficult times.
Much love Barb
